Peacefully, at Exeter Villa, Donald Joseph “D.J.” Regier, formerly of R.R. 1 Zurich, passed away on May 17, 2013 in his 76th year. Survived by his daughter Donna Regier, daughter-in-law Frances Regier and their children Victoria, Deric, Allysa and Madeline. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marion and Pat Sullivan, Teresa and Jim Cerny, Charles and Jacqui Regier and Richard and Becky Regier and Donna Regier. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Edwin and Agnes (Dietrich) Regier, one son Douglas, one sister Grace (Ray) Ducharme and one brother Lloyd Regier.
No funeral home visitation. The funeral mass was celebrated at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, Zurich on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11 a.m.. Fr. Graham Keep celebrant. Cremation to follow. Interment of ashes in St. Boniface Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
