At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Sunday, August 27, 2017, of Usborne Township, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Betty (Willard) Borland for 58 years. Dear father of Jeff Borland of Woodham, and Brad and Darlene Borland of Exeter. Dear grandfather of Kennedy, and Matthew Borland. Dear brother of Lillian Watters of Toronto, and brother-in-law of Roy Willard of Alberta, and Bill Rowcliffe of Hensall. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Mary Rowcliffe, Loreen Gill (Willis), Wilma Munn (Sandy), Alma Borland, June Hodgins (John), Lyla Rudolph (Larry), brother Bert Borland (June), sister-in-law Dorothy Willard, and brother-in-law Bob Watters. Jack was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge for over 60 years.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) on Wednesday 4:00 – 7:30 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 31st at 2:00 PM. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society, Thames Road/Elimville United Church, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
