At LHSC Victoria Hospital, London on Monday September 4, 2017 of London in his 71st year. Companion and best friend of Mary Lou Sabatine. Beloved husband of the late Sharon Marie Smith-Cook (1999). Dear father of Cary Cook and her friend Jake, step-father to Kayla and Josh, and proud Poppa to Izyk, all London. Dear son-in-law of Fred Smith of London. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Barbara and Jim Prowse and Doug and Debbie Cook all of London, David and Dawn Cook of Southampton and Merry Cook of Quesnel, B.C. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by the Sabatine family and the Smith family. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Alice (Haskett) Cook, a brother John Cook (April 2017) and mother-in-law Ann Smith. Bob retired after a lifelong career with A&P (Metro) grocery stores.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 7th at 11AM. Cremation with interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, London at a later date.

I met Bob when I was 16. We crossed paths a few times and though I hadn’t seen him in 25 years I never forgot him. He gave me fond memories. A very kind caring and thoughtful person. He will be missed by anyone who was fortunate to met him.
