Peacefully with family by his side and country music playing softly at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig on Thursday, March 7, 2019 of Ailsa Craig, formerly of Clandeboye at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Ruth (Scott) Hill for 70 years. Dear father of Elizabeth and Bill McHugh of Ailsa Craig, Nancy and Bob Thompson of Burlington, Dave and Karen Hill of Essex, and Susan Hill of Burlington. Dear grandfather of Laurie (Jeff); Jordan and Brandon. Dear brother and brother-in-law Sherman and Donna Hill of London. Alan will also be remembered by the Scott Family. Predeceased by his sisters Dorothy, Helen, Eleanor, Edith, Phyllis and brothers Doug and Stanley.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Friday evening from 6-8 PM where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 11 AM with Rev. Matthew Martin officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
If desired, donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
