After a brief struggle with cancer, Earl passed peacefully at LHSC- Victoria Hospital on Monday, March 11, 2019 of Exeter, at the age of 71. Sadly missed and loved by his wife Faye (Roney) Reichert of 46 years, and his four legged buddy “Charlie”. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Otilla (Walper) Reichert, and his brother Glen Reichert. Earl spent his entire working career at Parrish and Heimbecker Ltd. (Cook’s), until retirement in 2007. He spent his days working on his lawn and in the gardens with his John Deere tractor. At the end of each day, he looked forward to, and enjoyed relaxing on his front porch and visiting with the folks passing by. It was Earl’s wish for family, friends, neighbours, and all those who knew him, to remember the good times, and to cherish the wonderful memories.
At Earl’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, EXETER (519-235-1220).
For those who wish, donations to South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

It was with sadness that I read the news that Earl had passed. My memories of Earl bring a smile to my face because his humour always brought joy to both Hank and I. We always knew that when we were in your company, there would be laughter. These days are difficult and I send you my sincerest condolences as you go through the dark days ahead. This passage has helped me cope with the hard times and I share it with you in the hope you will also find some comfort in the words:
“Grief never ends……But it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith…It is the price of love.”
