To the Eckert Family, especially Margie
My thoughts and deepest sympathy are with all of you on the passing of this amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Mrs. Eckert was always so friendly, kind and welcoming when I visited the Eckert farm. She possessed so many fine qualities and we can all be inspired by her strong faith and strength to deal with life&&single&&s challenges. What a hard working woman she was, playing a major role in the operation of a successful farm and raising a wonderful large family. It was always such fun to visit the Eckert family on the farm. When I was young I remember the sleep overs and the ghost stories, playing in the hay, shovelling manure for my first time, roaming around excitedly in the barn, petting all kinds of animals, learning to ride horses and as we grew up there was continued fun on the hayrides and partying with good friends. Such great memories at the Eckert homestead!
I wish all of you peace, comfort from family and friends and cherished memories of Claire. She certainly has earned her ticket to heaven. Blessings to All

Dear Cathy, Connie, Elaine, Mary, John, Margie, & family ,
In a few weeks it will be 50 years since I first met your Mom. I can still picture her in her rubber boots in the milking parlour. I marveled then and I marvel now how she was able to do so much work around the farm and raise seven great kids and always seem to stay so pleasant and cheerful.
I extend to you all, my thoughts , prayers and sympathy.

Dear Cousins and families,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as we mourn the loss of Aunt Claire. Another bright light has joined the stars of Heaven. We celebrate a life well lived and a person much loved. Aunt Claire always welcomed us and made room for us, no matter how many were already occupying the “old” house, the new house, the play house or the White Owl!
Love to all of you,
Rona Lynn, Brian and family

Claire was my first teacher at the one room school at Bornish Ont. That would have been about 1939 or so. Many a day I played at the OHanley home on the center road, our farm was only half a mile or so on the 12 th. They were a great family , loved by all the neighbors.
She married into a great family , and I am sure you will all miss her. Kindess regards to all at this time Evelyn Willimson

I am offering my condolences on the loss of this grand lady, my Aunt Claire. I will always remember her for the calm, steady and warm welcome she offered every time we landed at her door! Always gracious and asking about what was happening with me … offering a comforting hand for the disappointments and ready to chuckle at the silly things!
To my cousins Cathy, Mary, Connie, Elaine, John & Margie: my prayers go to you and yours as your Mother joins the Grandest Euchre Game ever!! With Love and Hugs, Michele
