I just heard the sad news of Bill&&single&&s passing. My deepest sympathy to you all. Bill and I went to SS#8 McKillop and he and I used to &&single&&Rooster fight&&single&& – quite a combative one-legged tag. I was a little younger than Bill and the other &&single&&fighters&&single&& but that didn&&single&&t stop me- and it was Bill who knocked me flat one day and broke my wrist- of course we couldn&&single&&t tattle and he felt pretty bad..likely the first to sign the cast. When I moved away but came back to St Peter&&single&&s or other celebrations in Brodahagen, it was always great to see Bill&&single&&s big smile and receive his warm hello. That&&single&&s how I will remember Bill. I know he will be missed and will remain forever in your hearts.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
I haven&&single&&t seen Bill (or Vicki) in years, but what great memories I have of hanging out with Bill through our years in high school, then in London when we young punks, and later when Ann and I would visit at the farm before a dance or a house party. Bill was a wonderful guy, and we will all miss him immensely. Hang onto all the great memories!

Whether it was being a good neighbour, engineer, friend, business partner, councillor/deputy reeve, father, husband, baseball pitcher/coach, broomball player/coach, chamber member, euchre/crib player etc. Bill always gave his best. And Bill&&single&&s best was usually the best there could be. Bill&&single&&s knowledge of the environment, his heartfelt honesty, his jokes, his handiness (his impeccable woodworking etc.), was something that I respected immensely and learned a lot from. He will be very missed by many people and the world is poorer without Bill. Our sympathies to Vicki and the rest of the family. Take care good friend. A toast of rum to the man for a life well lived.
