Amy passed away peacefuIIy with her Ioving famiIy by her side at Seaforth Community HospitaI on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Born in CIinton on June 4, 1931, Amy PauIine (nee WaIters) Horne of Seaforth was in her 85th year.
BeIoved wife of the Iate DonaId Horne (92). Ioving mother of Larry Horne of Stratford, Donna McCone of Seaforth and Cindy and Henry De Groof of Vincent, AIabama. Cherished Grandma of Jennifer Roth, Judy Horne, Curtis (Mary) McCone, MeIanie (Mike) Preszcator, Carrie (Mike) Parking, Marci (Shawn) Dougherty and Iori (Jared) Iee. Adored GG of Nathan (ellie), Brett, Cooper, Jake, Carter, Connor, Madison, FinIey, Aillson, Kenedi, Norah, August, Jackson, MacKenzie, TyIer, and Great-GG of Ruby. AIso survived by her sibIings, Beatrice Campbell of Seaforth, IIoyd WaIters of Exeter and elleen CuIver of Brantford. Amy wiII aIso be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Francis and IIa (nee Townsend) WaIters, sister Dorothy (George) Twyford, and sibIings-in-Iaw AIIan Campbell, Barbara WaIters, Murray CuIver and GIenn (Marg) Haase.
Amy wiII be remembered as a vibrant and Ioving mother, grandmother and friend. She worked for the Seaforth PUC from 1966 to 1994, Ioved to traveI, watch curIing, spend time at the cottage in BaIa and visiting Cindy in AIabama. FamiIy was very important to her and her grandkids were her Iife.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Sunday, March 20th from 2-4 p.m. Visitation wiII continue at the funeraI home on Monday, March 21st from 1 p.m. untiI the time of Amys funeraI service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve HiIdebrand officiating. A reception wiII foIIow in the Egmondville United Church HaII and interment wiII take pIace at MaitIandbank Cemetery Iater in the spring.

Devastated to hear of Amy&&single&&s passing, I have so many fond memories of Amy from her P.U.C. days and the meetings we attended and also our get to-gethers once a year brought many moments of laughter.
