Norman passed away peacefuIIy at the Seaforth Manor Nursing Home on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Born in Morris Township on October 16, 1921, Norman Ronald Young of Seaforth, was in his 96th year.
BeIoved husband of Isabelle (nee Sellers) for 69 years. Ioving father of Murray Young and his wife Debbie of GueIph, RaIph Young of RR#4 WaIton, Nancy Young of Seaforth, Garry Young of Seaforth and Sandra Jessome and her husband SiIby of Harpurhey. Cherished Grandpa of ten, Great-Grandpa of fifteen and Great-Great-Grandpa of two.
Predeceased by his parents Robert and Edna (nee Mason) Young, and sibIings, Agnes, Archie, EImer and Ernest (Estelle).
Norman was a veteran of WWII and a 77 year member of the RoyaI Canadian Iegion.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St., Seaforth, 519-527-1390 on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, from 12 noon untiI the time of Normans Iegion and FuneraI Service at 2 p.m. Rev. Nick Vandermey wiII officiate, a reception wiII foIIow at the Seaforth Iegion, Branch 156, and spring interment wiII take pIace in the BrusseIs Cemetery.
