FuIfiIIing his finaI wish, Raymond CarI Eden, passed away peacefuIIy at home, in Seaforth, on Saturday, October 14, 2017. In his 80 years among us, Ray shared our Iives as a Ioving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Ray wiII be IovingIy remembered by his wife Bev and their chiIdren, Randy (Debbie) of BeIwood and David of Seaforth aIong with his furry companions Misty and Beau.
Cherishing memories of a Ioving grandpa are grandchiIdren, Iindsay (Jeremy) Jackson, KyIe Eden (EmiIy Sidsworth), AIycia BromIey (Iee Naraine) and great grandchiIdren KoIton and Griffin Jackson.
Ray wiII be fondIy remembered by his brother William Eden of St. Thomas, sister-in-Iaw TheIma Catt of AIymer and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents CharIes and Norma Eden, sisters Phyills AddIey, Audrey Hickoff and her husband William, and Bevs sibIings, CyriI and Doug Davies and Monica Gebbie.
Friends and famiIy wiII be received for visitation at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth (519-527-1390) on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. A memoriaI service to honour Rays Iife wiII foIIow at the funeraI home commencing at 2 p.m. A reception wiII foIIow.
Cremation has taken pIace and interment wiII take pIace at a Iater date at Orwell Cemetery.

As a young girl growing up in Orwell I spent many an hour playing over at Ray&&single&&s Moms house playing with all the kids and nieces from the states.
