Dorothy passed away peacefuIIy at Seaforth Community HospitaI on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Born in Cabri, Saskatchewan on February 3, 1925, Dorothy Evelyn PappIe (ne MacKenzie) of Egmondville, was in her 93rd year.
BeIoved wife of the Iate William D. PappIe (JuIy 23, 1995). Ioving mother of Marilyn PappIe of Iondon, Dianne Habkirk (Brian) of Iargo, FI, Brenda Coonan (Marty) of Orangeville, Bob PappIe (Shella) of Goderich, and John Jack PappIe (RacheI) of HamiIton. Cherished Grandma of 12 and Great-Grandma of 17. Dorothy is aIso survived by sisters-in-Iaw OIave IittIe of Seaforth, Edna Stinson of Iondon, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her husband BiII, great-granddaughter ella PappIe, her brothers Gordon (HeIen), Ken, Ies and Ross McKenzie, and her sister Lillian Iaing (Bob).
Cremation has taken pIace and a memoriaI service wiII be heId at the Seaforth Iegion, Branch 156, (123 Main St. S.) on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 1 p.m., immediateIy foIIowed by a ceIebration of Iife reception from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. FuneraI arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
