June Johns & "Buffy"
To Ron & Colleen and Family Members:
“Buffy” my St. John Ambulance Therapy dog and I have visited your dear Mother many times during the years she has been living at the Retirement Home. She wasn&&single&&t sure if she really liked dogs but we kept dropping by to admire her sewing and pyjamas for the C.A.S. in her other bedroom! Buffy is a red heeler like she knew Colleen and Ron
always had.
She was always so smiling at me and I really admired how very lovely she was dressed with pretty earrings and necklace on.
Her knitting was her last handiwork and in her younger life raised all of you. What a lovely mother to all of you.
it has been my enjoyment to have had the chance to have met her.

Jack and Mary Helen McLachlan
To all the Janmaat families,
Thinking of all of you as you gather to remember the well lived life of your mother and grandmother. Only met her a few times and she was always proud to tell you about her family and was interested in knowing about yours. She loved to join in the singsongs at the Manor and her generosity shone through to me with seeing the countless pairs of pj”s she meticulously sewed for the Christmas Bureau each year. Know this only scratches the surface of the strong but loving woman she must have been. She will live on forever in your hearts and memories.
With caring thoughts,
Jack and Mary Helen

I first met the Janmaats at thier modest farm in early 1960s. John was afraid of heights so I,in my teens, installed a roof on his small silo. I also worked with John in my dad&&single&&s construction company. Later I got to know Luke and even later Ken via my brother John.
Dutch imigrants like the Lansinks. Not possible to find a kinder happier family than the Jamaats. Wonderful people.

To all the Janmaats and their families, Moms are important and special people. Mothers live in a special place in the hearts of their children. That&&single&&s why mothers will continue to live even after they pass on. Thinking of you all at this time. Trish and Sebastian.
Fred, & Angela van den Berg
To the Janmaat Family,
for all of you our condolences with the loss of tante Marie, your mom, mother-in-law and grandmother.
Most of us did meet tante Marie more than once in Canada or Holland and she always was so similar to our mom. We believe they were very much lookalikes or twin sisters not just the looks but also in mind.
We are sorry she passed away but what strengthens us is to believe two sisters who have missed each other (sometimes very much) for a long time by being so far apart are now together again.
Wish you all love and strength in the time to come.
Love from Fred, Angela, Ilse & Michiel van den Berg
