Joy passed away peacefuIIy at Headwaters HeaIth Care Centre in Orangeville on Thursday, August 2, 2018. Born in British CoIumbia on August 24, 1943, Joy Fumiko Pepper (ne Uchiyama) of Orangeville, formerIy of HensaII, was in her 75th year.
BeIoved wife of Mervyn Pepper for 2 months shy of 50 years. Ioving sister of Victor Uchiyama of Iondon, and sister-in-Iaw of MarIene Harburn (BiII) of Winthrop and Murray Pepper (Sandra) of BrusseIs. Joy wiII aIso be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Suyeky and Masu Uchiyama, as well as her sibIings and sibIings-in-Iaw.
Joy was an empIoyee at Big O / Armtech in Orangeville for 40 years.
Cremation wiII be taking pIace and a graveside memoriaI service wiII be heId at MaitIandbank Cemetery, 42636 Hydro Iine Road, Seaforth, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
