At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Sunday, May 4, 2014, of Exeter and formerly of Collingwood in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Kay) Lavergne) Nixon for 58 years. Dear father of Kevin and Shirley Nixon of Exeter. Dear grandfather of Ashley and Ryan and great-grandfather of Lila. Predeceased by a brother Stan Nixon and his wife Jean and a sister Grace West and her husband Pete.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, one west of Main, Exeter one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at 2 PM with Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. There will be a Legion Memorial Service in conjunction with the funeral service at 2 PM.
