Tragically in Bancroft, Ontario on Friday, February 28, 2020 of Lucan at the age of 40. Cherished son of Monica (O’Shea) and Alan Porter of London. Much loved little brother of Sean Porter of Woodstock, Michael Porter of Toronto, and Erin and Jamie Fenwick of Lucan. Proud uncle of Brianna, Kieran, Alison, and Aidan. Matt will be remembered fondly by the entire O’Shea and Porter families, co-workers, and his countless friends. Matt was able to put a smile on the face of all those he encountered. His legacy of kindness, big smiles and laughter will be cherished by all for a long time to come.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-9 PM. Mass will be held at St. Patrick Church, 32922 Richmond Street, Lucan on Thursday, March 5th at 11 AM with Father Ross Bartley presiding. All are invited to attend an open reception and celebration of Matt’s life at the Lucan Community Memorial Centre, 263 Main Street, Lucan beginning at 1 PM.
If desired, donations to Lucan Minor Hockey or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
We are always willing to go where called upon but this image shows a visual of the communities that our included in our initial transportation fee. We offer a 40km radius from any of our 5 locations (Arva (London), Exeter, Lucan, Seaforth, and Zurich). Any mileage beyond the included 40km will be charged a rate of $2.50/km (one way travel only).
