You already know that Dale and I are so sorry about your dad’s passing. We, of course, watched the health workers coming and going and were so grateful for all the help that these faithful workers gave to him. Still, it was a shock to hear the news from you that day. I remember the day, Janice, when we first met you soon after we moved next door to your dad. We sat in our living room and, after talking for some time, it started to dawn on us that Dale’s mom and dad bought the house that was the house you and John lived in with your mom and dad on Green Lane so many years ago. Remember that afternoon? Ever since then, we have had a connection with your family. That connection has grown despite the circumstances that kept your dad inside most of the time we have known him. We were always glad to be able to help when he needed us. While this time is so hard, it is wonderful to know that your Dad knew how much he was loved.
