William Banting Allison “Bill”, after a brief illness, passed away in Thedford on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at the age of 87. He is now the guest of honour at Haskett Funeral Home, Lucan. Bill is survived by his cherished companion Sylvia Laberee. Loving father of Debra Allison Stewart (Brian), and James Allison (Sharon). Proud grandpa of Jacob; Eva-Marie, and Nolan. Missed by his step-son Darren Laberee and his wife Megan and their girls Emily and Charlotte, and step son the of late Bryce Labree, and his children Mark, Ashton and Nathan and his grand daughter Aubree. Dear brother of Edward Allison. Fondly remembered by Maxine Allison. Predeceased by his parents Jake and Eva (Morgan) Allison, and his sister Marlene.
Bill was Past Master of the Ailsa Craig Masonic Lodge and a member for over 66 years and was a member of London Mocha Temple. He was the accomplished owner/operator of Allison Excavating of McGillivray for 15 years, then moved to New Brunswick where he established the first pet cemetery and crematorium and expanded his business to Maine, USA. Bill enjoyed restoring antique tractors, participating in tractor pulls, and if he wasn’t fiddling with a tractor, he could be found on the lake trying to catch a fish.
