Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at LHSC – Victoria Hospital on August 9, 2021 at the age of 61. Cherished father of Heather Blok and Adrian McTaggart of Exeter, ON and Erin and Blair Aitchison of Melrose, Scotland. Adored younger brother and brother-in-law of Maria Piercy (Mark), Mary Fisher (Marty), Nellie Boshart (Bill), Agatha Feltz (Dave), and Dinah DeGroot (Jack). Terry will be missed and remembered by his many nieces and nephews, special friends and family members from the Netherlands. Predeceased by his parents Nellie and Tony Blok, his sister Trudy, and Heather and Erin’s mother Charlotte Mossman Blok.
Terry was a graduate of Lambton College and was a long time employee with the City of London, working primarily as a greenskeeper at the Thames Valley Golf Course. In his free time, Terry was a sports enthusiast, had a keen interest in machinery and high performance motorsports, and enjoyed his lawn care and skilled carpentry projects at home. Most importantly in his life though, was the love he had for his family and the life-long friendships he made with his childhood pals as well as most-dedicated friendships he forged in Exeter and elsewhere. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour and wit.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Terry’s family physician Dr. J. Jadd and the CCTC team at Victoria Hospital.
Memorial visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter on Sunday, August 15th from 2 -4 PM. Terry, mijn goede verre neef,
Teus Dorrepaal

So sorry to hear about Terry’s passing. Another gone too soon. We will always remember Terry as an Usborne Township baseball coach for his girl’s softball team. Our daughter benefited from his dedication and sports knowledge for many years.
I will also remember coming across his familiar face and voice on a random trail near Whistler BC one day in January a few years ago… The world is a small place.
Heather and Erin, you will have many happy memories to cherish. Please know that we are thinking of you both.

Terry was married to my sister Charlotte, we shared some fun times together, visiting Exeter in the summer, at Christmas and summer holidays in Nova Scotia. He was always a fun person to be around, always had a quick-witted and often humorous quip at hand.
And though the times were tough in the end for him and Charlotte when they separated, we all came together around her dying time. He was a good man and it is sad that he left this life at such a relatively young age! Hearts go out to the whole family and I’ll always be there for his daughters, as will the rest of their aunts and cousins i’m sure.

Such a wonderful guy. My condolences to Erin and Heather. My condolences to all his family and friends.
Friends from grade one until now. When I moved back to Ontario about 20 years ago, we reconnected after many years.
I knew he still had that wonderful sense of humour, when he called me at work and said “Oh sorry, did I wake you up?”
He was so honourable and genuine. I’m sure a lot of hearts are missing him, as mine is.
Teri and Mike Ladd
Our hearts and thoughts go out to Heather and Erin and all of Terry’s family. Terry will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He was always friendly and had a smile for everyone he met.
