Our condolences to Tim and Family. We were blessed to have your
Mom and Dad as friends and have many good memories of times spent
together. He was always there to lend a hand, and bring his tools when
needed. He was a great golfing buddy and the leader of the group.
Keeping you in our thoughts.

Hilda and I are saddened to find out today that your Dad passed away. Because of Covid and our age we have not been able to see your dad in person since 2019. We did call to check on him and were able to talk to him a couple time on Zoom. He has been on my mind the last 3- 4 days and found out when we called that he had passed. We met your Mom & Dad in 1962 when we came to Fergus and ED was on the Police force. We did fish and used to join with the others on the force here when went for target practice at old gravel pit just east of Fergus toward Belwood. Standard joke was your dad was only one of them that could beat me . Was lots of fun until the chief found out. We came to visit in the war time house when your dad came to Exeter on the force and visited many time after moved into the new house. We shared many fond memories as well as sad times and cherished the times on the boat and at the trailer at Sauble Beach. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this sad and difficult time. We will miss mom and dad’s laughter and your dad saying. “Wainwright. Your a nut” We will be making a donation through the Lions Foundation of Canada, Walk for Dog Guides in both your mom and dads memory. Larry and Hilda Wainwright and dog guide Otis

I extend my sympathy to all of Ed’s family. I knew him many years ago from when I worked at ODC & Ed was on Police Force. He often stopped in at Fire Dept Huron Park & we all enjoyed his great fun personality. Anyone who new Ed cannot help but have memories.

Tim, Patsy and Family;
Our deepest condolences. I first got to know your Dad when I was your moms home care worker. We shared lots laughs and giggles. Then when your Dad moved to the Villa my mother in law (Isabelle Becker) lived there also and Wayne and I often spoke to Ed, even talked about the OPP days. Now with your mom and at peace RIP Ed

Sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. He was a quiet man who never complained. He sure loved his candy! I will miss his “Thank you sweetheart” whenever I did something for him or stopped to chat.
