Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital on Saturday, August 27, 2022 of Grand Bend and formerly of London in her 97th year. Predeceased by her spouses William Grainger, John Olizarevitch, and Robert Mitchell. Loving mother of Suzanne Norton of London, Peter Grainger of London, and David and Carrie Grainger of Grand Bend. Proud grandmother of Robin Norton; Patrick Main; Jordan Grainger and great-grandmother of Hendrix, and Lynx. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Dorothy Simpson, and siblings Elsie Mitchell, Eleanor Walsh, Bess Cleverdon, Bert Simpson, Pat Simpson, and Herb Simpson.
Dot was a devoted member of the Eastern Star and had an immense love for music, dancing, and socializing. She was a dedicated member of her church, and always went above and beyond for her family.
A graveside service will be held at the Pinery Cemetery, 10060 Klondyke Road, Grand Bend on Friday, September 9th at 11 AM. Cremation has taken place.
Donations to the South Huron Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Dorothy was like a mother to me whose warm hugs always brightened my day. She loved watching me work in the garden and really appreciated all the effort I put into brightening her landscape.
