I got to meet Harold a few times when I was a child but my time spent with him and his wife Barbara one summer will always hold a special place in my heart. That summer I got to meet my Aunts and Uncles and spend time with my cousins. I am so grateful for the opportunity to get to know him that summer. Say hi to my mom and dad for me Grandpa.

To Barbara and your Family. Our deep condolences 💐 on the passing of your dear Husband Harold. We knew Harold when he was in ST. Marys visiting his parents Isabel and Joe Snoddy. My Mother Myrtle Brine and Myself Nancy (Brine) Bickell were very good friends of your Mother Isabel. She lived right across the road from us. After her passing we kept in touch with Barbara and Harold for many years and used to always see them at the Homecomings here in St. Marys. He was a lovely man and I am sure he had a wonderful family. What a great life he lived and to an amazing age. If someone from the family can relate this message to Barbara or the children that would be great. All the Best Nancy(Brine) Bickell –

Dear Barb and family
I met Hal while I was teaching the exercise class at the church beside your home. Hal was a very dedicated participant and always liked to chat and joke with me.
When I retired and worked at the grocery store he always made a point of stopping and chatting with me. I remember one day when he was checking out the avocados I asked him jokingly what he was getting them for. He said he was making guacamole and then proceeded to tell me his recipe. Hal said he made it for Barb and him for their snack. What a guy. I have such fond memories of him and he never seemed to age.
May you cherish your memories of Hal.
