Suddenly at his residence in Huron Park on Friday, October 7, 2022, Paul passed away in his 77th year of a broken heart, just 13 days after his cherished wife of 54 years Sheila (McCarty) Foley (September 24, 2022). Loving father of Paula Herrington (Rob) and Wendy Bangay (Donny). Proud grandfather of Amanda Thompson (Cole McLean), Tyler Thompson (Alicia Baker), June Cypher; Emma Bangay, Elisabeth ‘Lizzie’ Bangay and great-grandfather of Alanis McLean, Dalton Baker, and Amelia Baker-Thompson. Dear brother of Carolyn ‘Lyn’ Foley and son-in law of Evelyn McCarty. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and long time friends Tom and Linda Sandy. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Dorothy Foley, brother Gerald, brother Terry, twin brother Doug, brother Carl, and father-in-law Frank McCarty.
Paul ‘Farkle’ will be remembered for his great sense of humour and playing practical jokes on his family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Haskett Funeral Home, EXETER entrusted with arrangements.
Donations to Alzheimer Society or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
