Peacefully at Huronlea, Brussels on March 25, 2023 of Seaforth at the age of 86. Husband of Joan (Boyce) for 59 years. Father of Harold Chesney and his wife Deb of Seaforth, and Laura Collins and George of Brucefield. Grandpa of Sadie, and Quinn. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jennie (Cline) and Harry Chesney, and siblings Harold Chesney (Alma), Peggy Lemmon (Cecil), Pearson “Perk” Chesney (Fern), Margaret McKilligan (Art), and Dorothy Clark (Jack).`
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Seaforth Legion, 123 Main Street South, Seaforth on Thursday March 30, 2023 from 1- 4 PM. Spring Interment Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth.
Donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
