It saddens me that I cannot be there for Betty’s grand salute. She was a very dear friend, a mentor, and a humanitarian. Betty’s strength, courage, devotion to her family, and faith saw her through turbulent times. She handled it with wit and grace. Betty had spunk, an infectious smile and a desire to seek new adventures. She was a community leader, always willing to offer a hand. The Lucan Biddulph area owes her a debt of gratitude. I will miss my visits with her. I am planting a tree in her honour – the branches will remind me of just how far a reach Betty had in this world. When I sit below them to read, I’m sure to hear Betty’s laughter in the rustling of the leaves. May the winds of heaven dance between us.

Dear Hall family,
Your Mom was such a dear soul. Always glad to see you when meeting her on the street or anywhere for that matter. She always had a comment we could chuckle over. I know she will be missed. Thinking of you all.

Betty was a dear friend, a mentor, and a warrior woman!
Strong of heart and soul, she braved turbulent times with wit and grace.
Betty gave generously to her family, her community and to her church.
A true humanitarian filled with compassion, devotion and a fireball of energy.
The Lucan Biddulph must be filled with gratitude for all of Betty’s community contributions.
Certainly, the township has been enriched by her actions.
May Betty’s spunk, love of life and willingness to help anyone in need remain in our memories forevermore. She will be missed but certainly not forgotten. My deepest condolences to Betty’s children and grandchildren.

We are so saddened to hear about Betty’s passing. She was such a gem of a lady and loved her family so dearly. Mom and I would enjoy catching up with her in town on her scooter. A tradition was to send her our families’ Christmas card each year that I know she was expecting. She was everyone’s mom/grandma and well respected throughout the community. We recently missed attending her 90th Birthday Celebration as we were out of town. Cherish all the memories, sending our sincere condolences.
