Passed away peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Stan Hodgins (2021). Proud mother of the late Edward Hodgins, Clint and Sandy Hodgins and Marty Hodgins and Bonnie Baker Hodgins. Much loved grandma of Adam, Colton, Alecs, Sofia; Owen, and Abby. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Brian (Gerri), Wayne (Carla), the late Walt (RuthAnn), Ed (Heather), Jane (Phil), Pete (Deb), Gil (Tracy), and Susan (Lewis). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gib and Maxine Parkinson.
Norma will be remembered for her hospitality. Whether you were there for 5 minutes or 5 hours, you were always welcomed into her home and couldn’t leave without a bite to eat or a coffee or tea. Norma always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends near and far. In her spare time, she could be found tending to her beautiful gardens on the farm or cheering on one of her grandchildren or the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, LUCAN on Sunday afternoon from 2– 5 PM. Registration is appreciated. Please click “Register Now” below, to register.
Norma’s funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 5th at 11 AM. Interment St. John’s Cemetery, Arva.
