Dear Wendy and family,
We were saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. May you hold comfort in the memories you shared with him. Jim was one of a kind, a natural ‘Jack of all Trades’, and certainly a fine carpenter. We remember the many curling bonspiels with the local farmers, he always made time for a social beer with friends and neighbors. He easily made friends with the young and seasoned adults. We will also treasure the few visits we had with Jim and Wendy at their cottage over the years.
Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Wendy and family, Dorothy and Marion,
In the tradition of Aunt Mary it is time to write a letter…….one that may have begun at Doe Lake where you were gathered, but completed at home on the farm or Exeter. I have many memories of those letters with reports of each of you. We shared family get togethers, trekking through the snow to skate on the pond, a shared meal around a laden table , and the train. Jim and I shared many meetings at the Usborne Township Council Table and I have a few 150 celebration photos to prove it. Jim was a community person respected for those carpentry skills others have spoken of. He will be missed but remembered with laughter and tears. Our family circle continues to change and although we may not see each other often we respect our roots and share our story.
Take good care of each other at this time and since each of you has such a wonderful laugh use it often. Laughter through tears brings healing relief !
Sincere love and sympathy , Margaret
