At her lakefront home, on October 1, 2023 Sandy passed away with her beloved four legged companions by her side at the age of 67. Dear sister of Lionel (Gail) Dearling, and Nova Gunn. Proud aunt of Wade, Della, Athena, Cheryl, Natasha, Brinley, Kyle, Brent and Jason. Fondly remembered by her many close friends and colleagues. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Sylvia (Markham) Dearling, her brothers Barry and Clive, and her nephew Clifford. Sandy enjoyed her long tenured banking career with the Royal Bank of Canada and Libro Credit Union.A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 from 1-4 PM. Words of remembrance will take place at 2 PM. Cremation with interment Riverside Cemetery, Toronto. Donations to the OSPCA or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

I’m very sorry to hear of the loss of Sandy. I have many fond memories of working with Sandy at both United Communities Credit Union and Libro Credit Union. She was a true advocate for her fellow staff members at the credit union, with the utmost integrity, and a great sense of humour. She will be truly missed.
