Passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Wayne Taylor for 64 years. Cherished mother of Sherri Taylor and Jim Oswald, Catherine Taylor and Graham Sims, and Shirley Taylor. Adored mama of Chris and Laura, and Stephanie and Kurt, and great-mama of Brayden, Alexis, Lane, Mallory and Emily. Dear sister of Linda Cox, Marion Mathers, Jim Dales, and Sharon McKean. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Danny Taylor, sisters Gloria Angel, Yvonne Brock, Ruby Fulcher, and Marg Wilson and her parents David and Rita (Edmunds) Dales.
A private family graveside service will be held at Bayfield Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Homes, Zurich (519-235-1220).
Donations to the Ronald McDonald House, Sunshine Foundation, Make a Wish Foundation or Huron Residential Hospice in Shirley’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
