Passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Linda (Lightfoot) Morley for over 50 years. Cherished father of Steve Morley (Brenda) of Lucan, and Karen Dunlop (Kevin) of Crediton. Loving poppa of Jared, Ryan; Dakota and Jayden. Dear brother of T. Larry “Buck” Morley (Joan). Lorne will be dearly missed by his furry best friend Boomer. Predeceased by his parents Arnold and Ruby (Armitage) Morley.
Rest in peace Lorne, enjoy your reunion with those who have gone before and your beloved Irish Rover. Keep on the track!
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Jessica’s House for the exceptional care and compassion provided to Lorne during his final days.
In keeping with Lorne’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.

I, myself, can not believe that Lorne has passed away,, so I can’t even begin to imagine how you must all be feeling. Lorne was bigger then life, his laugh was contagious, his smile infectious,, and his sense of humor was unmatched. I will never see a pair of suspenders again, without thinking of Lorne lol. That reunion must have had the heavens rocking yesterday,, when Linda and Lorne met up once again after their time apart from each other. I can hear their laughter, and see those smiles for each other in my mind,, as I picture them finding each other arms again. Your Mom and Dad instilled some special values in Karen and Steve,, and were so proud of the two of you. Those grandkids meant everything and then some to both of them,, and you all made them so incredible happy with the times you spent with them. I am so sorry that you had to lose your Dad so much sooner then you ever expected,, but keep living the path in life he wanted you to take,, and continue to make both of them extremely proud, as they always were. Hugs to you all during this extremely emotional time.
