So sorry to hear of my best old neighbour Jack’ passing. We lived next door to Jack and Family for nearly 20 years, and enjoyed many a soda together. When his son Chris started a band in his teen years we had the pleasure of free rock music coming from his bedroom window on many afternoons and evenings. Jack was an excellent painter and his work graced many of our walls. We will miss Jack, and our prayers go out to his family in this sad time.

To the Cleave family: Our deepest sympathy on the news of Jack’s passing. As teenagers growing up in Zurich in the 60’s we held Jack in awe, big muscles, a hot car likely (I can’t remember for sure), soft spoken, a pretty cool guy. When he recently became sick, in talking with Sharon and Diane it was very hard on the family to see their brother in such poor health. RIP Jack you will be surely missed by all that knew you best. Uncle Jack was a very special guy! He has always had a special spot in my heart. The last time I visited him at the home he set me in my place, letting me know that his sisters were very precious to him and you weren’t going to say any different, His love for his kids and grandkids showed in his eyes whenever there were mentioned. Those little great grandchildren were his pride & joy!
We will miss you Uncle Jack 💖

Chris and Carrie:
I am so truly saddened for you both that you have come to the time in your life when you have lost your Dad. He was unique in his very own way which made him the “Jack” , “Zippy” , “The Power”, or any other nickname that his many friends knew him by. Your many fond memories will keep him close and in your hearts always and always in a little corner of mine.
Love,

My brother has passed and gone in peace, Jack was a hard worker, sometimes he even thought he was still working at the rest home so we just listened. He no longer was the Jack everyone knew he didn’t know himself anymore but he loved all his family dearly and he let it be known especially his little great granddaughters.
