Of Seaforth, passed away at home on the morning of Monday, December 18, 2023 at the age of 49. Super proud mom of Emma Taylor, and Owen Taylor (girlfriend Latisha). Cherished daughter of Jack and Mary Helen (Buchanan) McLachlan. Loving sister of Susan McLachlan (Pete Hart). Fondly remembered by her extended family and a multitude of friends.
Sherri had a passion for golf, photography, baking and crocheting; everything she did was done with pure love. She enjoyed galivanting with her friends and family, always up for a road trip not always with a destination in mind. Sherri will be forever remembered for her generous spirit and kindness for others, her light was bright for all lucky enough to cross her path.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, SEAFORTH on Friday, December 22nd from 1 – 3 and 7 – 9 PM.
Sherri’s funeral service will be held at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Road, EGMONDVILLE on Saturday, December 23rd at 11 AM with Pastor Brian Hymers officiating. Interment Egmondville Cemetery.

Until I saw the photo on this page, I wouldn’t have been able to pick Sherri out of a lineup. Regardless, the news of her death upset me greatly.
Beginning in November 2020 and continuing through November 2021, I experienced a number of mental health crises that were incredibly difficult to navigate. Sherri’s kindness, compassion, care, and genuine consideration was more important to me than she knew.
Sherri was diligent with checking in and ensuring a back-to-work plan was created that satisfied my unique health needs.
I wish I had told her the impact she had while I could. I hope her family will accept my sincerest thanks on her behalf.
