Dorothy was the sweetest and most gracious lady one could hope to meet at Exeter Villa. She was so beloved by her family that they surrounded her on every occasion with all manner of adornments to make the most of every season. Dorothy was kind, thoughtful and had a heart as big as the ocean. Her family all have the same generous hearts. I think Dorothy knew the secret to happiness….some think it was her pumpkin pie vanilla airfreshener but for eighteen years those at the Villa were fortunate to see her sparkling eyes and smile making all feel honoured to know her. She shall me missed but not forgotten.

My mom Betty Mclean was her roommate for some time. My mom had hard time adjusting to moving into LTC and Dorothy helped her in many ways.
Dorothy was a very very special person who had a way about her to make everyone feel calm.
I called her an angel ( mom’s angel) for her patience, kindness and consideration of others.

In fact I have no memory of the Pfaff Family not being a part of the Parsons Family. Special times for us when Santa would come through our back door every Christmas Eve, Harvey, Steve and then Greg! Today is bitter sweet as I write this note on Christmas Eve but the memories will be forever. It feels like it was only yesterday.

As you brush against the world so gently, you lift us.”
Love to all of you and many thoughts.
