Unexpectedly, at LHSC – University Hospital surrounded by his family on Friday, January 12, 2024 of Birr, at the age of 82. Cherished and devoted husband of Charlotte (Thomson) Traher for over 60 years. Proud and loving dad of Paul and Miriam Traher, Angela and Ron Van Geel, Teri and Dick Wuytenburg, and Dave and Michelle Traher. Adored Grandpa of Jocelyn (Paul), Christine, and Jamie; Josh (Kristen), Matthew (Shelby), Laura (Dustin); Brittany (Michael), Hailey (Ryan), Ashly (Camilo), Claire; Olivia, Audrey, and Charlotte and Great-Grandpa of Jackson, Josie, Kayce, and Brooks. Bob followed in his family footsteps carrying on Traher’s Dry Cleaning business in London for many years. Dear Charlotte, Ang, Ron, Paul, Miriam, Dave, Michelle, Teri, Dick and families,
We send our most Heartfelt Condolences to all of you on the passing of your Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great- Grandfather and wanted to share a few memorable moments in time that we hold very dear to our hearts.
In the early 2000’s when on my way back from walking our dog down Thirteen Mile, I heard someone holler my name. It was Bob, and he and Charlotte were out back having a drink on the patio of their house at the corner of Salisbury Drive and 13 Mile, and he said, “come here and have a drink with us”. How could I not! So Angel and I sat with the two of them and had a lovely visit over a glass of wine and a big bowl of water.
Then, last November I ran into Bob at the Sunningdale LCBO. We shared a laugh and a hug and I watched one of the staff give him a hand lifting his order into his truck.
These are just a few of the many memories that we will cherish of the kind, generous and caring person that he was.
What a Blessing he was to the many families that live in Birr. He will be missed.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Paul, Monica and Jackie Vandenhoff

Bob was a fantastic person. We are shocked 😓. I never spent a lot of time with Bob. I wish I had the opportunity to have spent much more time. The last time we 🍻 our glasses together was on a cruise. He was such a class guy, Carol and I offer our deepest condolences to Charlotte and all the family. Our hearts are with you and will be lighting a candle Sunday morning but as we all know, Bob is in a better place, and will be sharing a drink together someday❤️❤️
