Peacefully, but suddenly, at her home on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the age of 67. Fran resided in Seaforth and formerly lived in Lucan and Stanley Township. Proud mother of Emily Simons of Lucan. Cherished Nana of Emma Jean and Eliza Jane O’Neil. Loving sister of Greg and Pat Armstrong of Stanley Township. Fondly remembered by her many nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by her parents Floyd and Jean Armstrong and her brother Gerald Armstrong.
During her recent retirement, Fran had hoped to spend time doing her greatest passion – crafting. She was very artistic and her many hobbies involved cross stitching, needlework, quilting, antiquing, gardening and photography (she was famously known as the family photographer!)
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, SEAFORTH on Sunday, June 9th from 1-5 PM. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 10th at 1 PM with the Rev. Ken Whiting officiating. Interment Bayfield Cemetery.
Donations to Arthritis Society Canada or the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Taken far too soon.
Firstly , my sincere condolences to Emily and the family.
Your mom was a very special person.
We started at U.H .the same day and remained very close until my retirement in 2013.
We experienced a lot together.
8 gruelling trips to Guatemala with operation walk. First to the clinic in the morning and the last to leave.
Fran was hesitant to venture out alone , so I had the pleasure to be at her side as she captured many moments on the camera.
Worked hard …partied hard.
I will miss her posts on f/b of pictures of our missions.
Rest in peace dear Fran.
