Passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the age of 75. Cherished mother of Jerry Alexander, and Cheryl and Dan Rader. Proud grandma of Brennan Alexander-Masse and Kaitlyn Jones, Zach Rader, Trent Rader, Paige Alexander, and Dakota Demars. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sharon and the late Doug Sinnamon, Deb and Darcy Roblin and “adopted” sister and sister-in-law of Marlene and the late Glenn Diechert.Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, “adopted” daughter Verena Roth (Wayne Demars), best friends Bonnie Strong and Maryann Chambers, and her former husband Jim Alexander. Predeceased by her parents Eric and Margaret (Reichert) Switzer.
Dianne had a successful 30 year career in Real Estate and was known for being a kind and caring agent that would help people find their dream homes. She was a dedicated volunteer and legion member, running the Poppy Drive in Bayfield for 20 years. In her spare time, she was an avid card player and loved a game of shuffleboard.
A celebration of Dianne’s life will be held at the Clinton Legion, 95 Kirk Street, CLINTON on Saturday, July 20th from 2 – 4 PM with words of remembrance at 3 PM. Cremation has taken place.
Donations to LHSF – Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre, South Huron Hospital Foundation, Jessica’s House or the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 140 (Clinton Legion).
The family would like to thank London Region Cancer Centre, South Huron Hospital, and Jessica’s House for their care and compassion shown to Dianne and her family.
