Dear Elaine and all of your wonderful family,
We send you our most sincere condolences on the loss of Bev. We will all remember him as the most kind-hearted man, with the biggest smile and quick wit – we all loved watching Bev smile when he told a joke or a story, all the while waiting to see when we would catch on to the humour of it all. Conversations with Bev came easy and we could discuss anything that was current, or go back to the good old days.
To say we will miss Bev is an understatement. Going to visit Steve and Audrey and family at their home, we always hoped Bev and Elaine would be there too!
To Bev – we tip our hats – a wonderful friend and a wealth of knowledge that we will cherish forever in our hearts!
Love from all of the O’s 💕

My sympathy to Elaine and family. I had the honor of sitting on that SHH board with Bev. Because the hospital was constantly underfunded by the province Bev was able to get an audience with the minister of health and gave his concerns. The minister replied that there was money in the pot but didn’t know how to get it dedicated to South Huron. Bev’s response that he had brought a couple of suitcases in his trunk and could take the cash home that day. Of course that didn’t happen but through his hard work and dedication the extra funding did come through shortly there after and the hospital has never looked back.
