Tom will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Tom was a long-time employee of the City of London and had been retired for over 30 years. He loved to play golf with his buddies and spend time with his family. Tom was an outdoorsmen through and through enjoying hunting, fishing and boating. He loved spending time in Kearney. Tom was a caretaker by nature, you could always find him lending a hand to someone. He spent many years taking care of his Mary, and there is no doubt they are together again.
As per Tom’s request there will be a family graveside service at the Knox United Cemetery in Kearney. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Homes, ZURICH.

Sending my prayers and condolences to all the Carpenter family. Tom was a wonderful friendly guy, we were family and friends for over 25 years plus. Mary and Tom, who were my sister-in-law and brother-in-law were a lovely happy couple, had a beautiful daughter Carol (who babysat my kids!!) and now she has a beautiful family as well who will all miss their grandfather and great grandfather. I am so happy that they are now back together. I’m sending hugs and heartfelt wishes to them all.
Tom was a great friendly guy😍❤️ who will be sincerely missed. May he rest in peace.
