Passed away with family by her side at Alexandra Marine General Hospital, Goderich on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the age of 79. Beloved daughter of Annie (Wood) Sallows. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Heather Love, Rob Sallows, Ted and Marie Sallows, David Sallows, and Dave McKenzie. Loving aunt of Brad, Jeff; Tim, Jen, Jamie, Trevor; Carly, Daniel; Brandon; Chris; Ryan, Denim, Asher-Dee, and Jagger. Dianne will be fondly remembered by her great-nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her brother Jimmie Sallows, sister Debbie McKenzie, nephew Steve Sallows and her special friend Doris Chambers.
Dianne’s youthful spirit shone brightly throughout her life. A devoted aunt, she brought joy to her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, spending countless hours with them sharing movies, crafts, board games, and card games. Dianne’s absence will be deeply felt at Maitland Manor, where she was loved by staff and friends alike, especially for her kind heart and the colorful bracelets she generously shared. She will be remembered fondly and missed by all who knew her”.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Maitland Manor for the care they provided to Dianne during her stay.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Maitlandbank Cemetery on October 25th at 11 am.
Donations to Epilepsy Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
