At Exeter Villa, Exeter on Monday, August 1, 2005 Dorothy Isabelle (Drake) Astle in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late William Astle ( 1978). Dear mother of John and Marion Astle of Exeter and Ralph and Marie Astle of Dashwood. Dear grandmother of David and Judi Astle of Woodstock, Wendy and Eric Nethercott of RR 1 St. Marys, Cindy and David Hynes of Australia and Don Beaver of Cambridge. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Dear sister of Adelaide Johnston of Hamilton and Evelyn MacLeod of Strathroy and sister-in-law of Edna Thomas of Hamilton. Predeceased by sisters Kathleen Brumwell and Marion Drake. A private family service will be held at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Wednesday, August 3rd with The Rev. Father William Ward officiating. Interment Anglican Cemetery, Woodstock. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
