Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Thursday, December 29, 2005 Arnold J. Westelaken of RR 1 Hensall in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Frances (Smits) Westelaken (1991). Dear father of Arnie Westelaken of Camlachie, Irene and Dave Posliff of Strathroy, Art and Ursula Westelaken of Sarnia, Margaret and Mike Intven of St. Thomas, Mike and Sheila Westelaken of Rodney, Brian and Ruth Westelaken of Hensall, Christine Westelaken and Ken Jules of Woodstock, Jackie Westelaken and Otte Rosenkrantz of London and Rob Darling of Ilderton. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Dear brother of Anny Liebregts, John Westelaken and Paul and Betty Westelaken all of St. Thomas, Herman and Emmy Westelaken of Uxbridge, Ed Westelaken of Blenheim, Lucy and Louis Van Boxmeer of London and Mary Westlaken of Orillia. Predeceased by daughter Mary Ann Darling, daughter-in-law Judy Westelaken, brother Ben Westlaken and sisters-in-law Jeanne and Ann Westelaken and brother-in-law Joe Liebregts. Family and friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Sunday 2-4 PM and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Precious Blood Church, 200 Sanders Street West, Exeter on Tuesday, January 3rd at 11 AM with Father Ray Lawhead celebrating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully appreciated. Prayers in the funeral home Monday at 6:30 PM.
