Suddenly, at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich on Saturday, August 5, 2006 Andrew Miedema of RR 1 Bayfield, age 83. “Was called home to his Lord”. Beloved husband of Jennie (Bakker) Miedema. Dear father of Tettie Rooke of London, Mike and Diana Miedema of Port Stanley and Bernie and Marsha Miedema of Exeter. Dear grandfather of Matthew and Laura, Danielle and Peter, and Patrick; Meaghan, Tyler and Nikki. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Reintje Crans of The Netherlands and Bernie and Christine Bakker of Strathroy. Predeceased by sisters Louwkje, Anne and Pietje and brothers Freerk, Wieger and Clarence. Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at the Exeter Christian Reformed Church, 330 Huron Street W., Exeter on Thursday, August 10th at 2 PM with Pastor Harry Frielink officiating. A private family interment will be held at Elmdale Memorial Cemetery Thursday morning. Donations to Exeter Christian School Society would be appreciated by the family.
