Just returned from down South and heard the news about Murray. Our sincere condolences to his family and to Don and Maureen Cole. I first met Murray at CCAT and then he kept the rubber on our vehicles since opening his business in Exeter. Playing oldtimer hockey against Murray I would always say going into the corner that I’ll get it but he never listened. Great guy, he left us all with lots of memories to remember.

So very deeply saddened to learn of Murray’s passing. He inspired and enriched many lives. His seemingly carefree nature, ready smile and warm engaging personality will always be remembered. The many conversations around farming, motorcycles, travel and countless other topics will be greatly missed. Numerous times through the years he cheerfully bailed me out of untimely tire mishaps, both on and off the farm. Sincere condolences and sympathy to the entire family. May the good memories and stories provide grace, serenity and strength to you during this difficult time and always.

Murray was full of life and lived it to the fullest. Bigger than life itself. Sod got his nickname at Centralia College from Dave (Zoomer) Golley. He said Murray was like a big piece of sod one day, and the name stuck. I think Murray was sitting on him at the time! Always with a big grin on his face. Loved and missed by many.

Murray Connolly was an absolute friend. He wasn’t one to express his love in many words but was quick to lay down a good deed your way. He was always ready to help another and though he acted so unaffected by his own hardships; I barely can do the same for my life already feels incomplete without him. His greatest treasure was the love of his family and we are all a little richer for knowing him. My thoughts and prayers are with his A, Amanda, Daniel and Braden.
