My deepest sympathies to the`family of Velma. Such a kind generous lady who taught me much about work and canning. I knew Velma when I was teenager working at the Exeter Canners with my Mum (Grace McBride) Mum worked on the “carrot line” and I worked on the “glue” line` & assembled boxes with Margaret Jean Broadfoot of`Kippen. I also used to see Velma at Drysdale Hardware in Hensall. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Dear Sandra, Don, Ron, Jim and Gary and families,
As a youngster I remember going up to ” Bill and Georgina’s” and there would be a “jam session” what a good time. Your mom was always such fun and so nice, what a smile, Over the years when I would see her in Exeter she always knew who I was. I know she missed your Dad so much ( now there was a talented fella!) I am living in Brantford now. God bless you all, Kindest regards, Judy
