I was very sorry to hear of Don’s passing. Many years ago he played in the Lucan Rec. Baseball League for a year on our Walloy Hearn team. He played field and Jeff played 3rd base. We had a blast and won the championship. I have a picture of Don with the ball team hanging in my workshop. Great memories. Your family have my best wishes.

Don and Vera were ever present at Medway High School as all four children competed in a number of different sports. Don, the gentle giant, was one of the strongest men I knew, in character as well as physical condition. How tragic that he should be stricken with such a debilitating illness so early in life.
His legacy will live on through his children who continue to coach local sports, especially his son Greg who teaches and coaches at Medway, challenging his athletes, as Don once did, to find their true athletic potential.
My condolences to the Henderson family at this difficult time.
Sharon and Ted
