Peacefully, at home in Exeter, on Sunday, December 13, 2015, with family by her side, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Bill Wheeler for 60 years. Dear mother of Danny Wheeler of Brighton, Dean and Judy Wheeler of St. Hubert, Quebec, Martin and Beth Wheeler of Fredericton, N.B., and Lisa and Larry Forrester of Barrie. Dear Gram to Jessica (Darby), Tanya (Matt), Bill (Amber); Katelyn; Miles, Tyler, Madison; Shayne and Alicia; and great-grandmother of Charly, Jorgia, Vandal, Larz, MacKenzie, Caius and Kirby. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Bob (Doreen), Terry (Sharon), Marilyn, Sharon (Marty), Gary, Diane (Gene), and Brenda (Wayne). Predeceased by her parents Harry and Vera (McDonald) Bowden, and her siblings Ross, Marj (Chub), Wanda, Marvin (Audrey), Valerie, and Don (Donna). Pat was a golfer, a President of Caven Presbyterian Church Gordon Auxiliary, and a wonderful Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, (1 street west of Main) Exeter on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at Caven Presbyterian Church, 68 Main Street S., Exeter on Friday, December 18th at 11AM with Pastor Mary Jane Bisset and Rev. Dorothy Henderson officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to Caven Presbyterian Church, South Huron Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
