It was with sad hearts that we heard of Gwen’s passing. She was courageous in her struggle against the afflictions that came upon her and Bill. After purchasing the Kirkton Market from Gwen and Bill, they became dear friends and ever helpful to us, which was much appreciated. Rest in peace, Gwen, we love you.

Dalton and Sandy, Yvonne and John and families;
Our deepest sympathy at this time. It is hard not to think of Gwen (and Bill), whenever there is a supper in Centralia Church. They were always there, smiling, laughing, greeting us, making some remark. They both always took the time to tell us how wonderful the meal was when they were finished. Gwen was much quieter in these settings than Bill was, but she always managed to graciously convey her thoughts. We often saw Gwen at many community gatherings or out and about the streets of Exeter. In the earlier years, it was often at a ball game that we would see this dignified lady sitting on the benches, mingling with the crowd and enjoying the scenery.
I know she was a wonderful aunt to all of you and you will miss her greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
