The Man We Loved
God saw he was getting tired, A cure was not to be So he put His arm around him And whispered, “Son, Come with me”. With tearful eyes we watched him suffer, And saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Working hands were laid to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best! Rest in Peace dear “Brother Jim” – a genuine, fine example of a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother/brother-in-law, and friend and fellow employee to many!!

My dear family – I don’t think there are any words that can ease your pain; lighten your loss; or explain to you how much Jim met to me and my children – not to mention so many people directly and indirectly. He was such a light in the dark… Gave so much with just his acknowledgement of you… His zest for life, and his commitment to his family, friends, and community is something all of us should be envious of. I love you all so very much and wish there was something I could say or do for every single one of you – just as Jim would do for others. Jim is now with God, and God will ensure that he is always with you as well….eternally. I love you. Carla Rose

My condolences to the entire family. I didn’t work with Jim long but I had the priveledge of working with him for a short time before his health got the better of him. From the first day I met him, he taught me to give people respect and allow them the opportunity to keep it. It was something someone could lose and not something everyone had to prove. This is a great phylosophy. Jim was was one of my biggest supporters coming into a new job. His cheerful attitude and cunning wit were pleasant to be around. He will be sorely missed by all. It was a pleasure to know him, I will never forget him. Time to mingle with the leafs that actually won championships eh Jimmy?
