Suddenly at Florida Hospital of Tampa, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, Bernice Alice (Ferg) Eckel, of R.R. 1 Bayfield, passed away in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Charles Eckel. Dear mother of Doug and Betty Lynn Eckel of Zurich and Debbie and Pat Fleuelling of St. Thomas. Loving Grandmother of Kraig Eckel and Laura Geoffrey, Jaime Eckel, Terry Milli and Lorraine Anderson, and Ashley Milli. Great-grandmother of Koleson, Tucker and Hunter Eckel, Christian and Ava Milli and Latesha, Mya, Jalissa and Deja Milli. Sadly missed by the Eckel family and her many friends. Predeceased by her parents Blighton and Alice (Bailey) Ferg. Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N, Zurich, Ont on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Mr. Colin Snyder officiating. Spring interment Bayfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetic Association or a charity of one’s choice.
