Peacefully, at Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich, on Thursday, May 20, 2010, Marion E. (Thompson) Hayter passed away in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Russell Hayter (1993). Dear mother of Marg Upshall of Hensall, Barbara Sutton and John Tester of Exeter and Stewart and Sharyn Hayter of Brandon Man. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret Hayter and Hazel Dowson Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 1 brother, 2 sisters, sons-in-law Jack Upshall and Leonard Sutton and 2 grandchildren.
The Funeral service will be held in the Hensall Visitation Chapel, 79 King St., Hensall on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Pastor Tracey Whitson Bahro officiating. Interment Bayfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bluewater Rest Home Building Fund, CNIB or the Canadian Cancer Society.
