It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, wife, hero and supporter. Brenda Ruth (Gale) Rader, of Zurich, while surrounded by her family passed away in her 62nd year on Wed, Sept 5, 2012 at South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Brenda fought her battle with breast cancer with incredible grace, determination and sense of humour. She had gathered enough strength to walk her son down the aisle at his wedding in her own back yard on Sunday before being taken to the hospital to fight her final days. Brenda will be greatly missed by her husband Jerry, her children Cam (Stephanie), Jaclyn and Deryk. Loved daughter of Dorothy Gale and the late Jack Gale. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Barb (Gary) McEwan, Joan (Cliff) Smith, Terry (Mary) Gale, Ron (Shirley) Rader, Carol (Tom) Arthur and Marlene Rader. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Brenda worked tirelessly beside Jerry at their business “Jerry Rader Homestyle Catering” for 25 years.
Cremation. Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N, Zurich on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, Sept 8, 2012 at 11a.m. in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Zurich. Pastor Nadine Schroeder-Kranz officiating. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Center, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or a charity of one’s choice.

When I think of Brenda I think about her infectious laugh, how proud she was of her children and the definition of strength. She truly was a remarkable woman and there was not a time I didn’t run into her that she wasn’t beaming from ear to ear talking about her family.
